Mind Body Yoga

Level 1: Appropriate for beginners with no yoga experience. Students should feel comfortable moving from a seated position to a standing position without assistance. 

Class Description: Based on Hatha yoga, the focus is on safe alignment, breath awareness, stretching and stress relief.

Yin Yoga

Level 1: Appropriate for beginners with some yoga or meditation experience. Students should feel comfortable changing positions while on the floor. Props will be available for comfort, but students should anticipate being able to hold a position for many minutes without major adjustments. 

Class Description: A quieter class that focuses primarily on improving the deeper connective tissues around the spine, sacrum, hips, pelvis & knees. Therapeutic postures will be held for longer periods of time (90 seconds - 5 minutes) to allow the tissues to become more flexible.

Yoga Sculpt

Level 1: Appropriate for beginners with no yoga experience. Students are encouraged to be able to hold a plank (knees on or off the ground) for at least 30 seconds before attending. Students will be able to do as much or as little as they want. 

Class Description: Here we combine our favorite yoga postures with 2-3 lb hand weights. Students should expect a mix of hatha and vinyasa techniques. Class will focus heavily on breath awareness.

Power Hour

Level 1: Appropriate for beginners with no yoga experience. Students are encouraged to be able to hold a plank (knees on or off the ground) for at least 30 seconds before attending. Students will be able to do as much or as little as they want.

 

Class Description: Class will include a blend of meditation, body strengthening exercises, endurance based holds, and easy stretches. Find a variety of Hatha and vinyasa based sequences in each unique class.

Bhakti Power Flow

Level 2: Appropriate for students with a basic understanding of most yoga postures and alignment. Students feel comfortable with a basic sun salutation that includes a chaturanga. 

Class Description: A true vinyasa flow class. This class offers a dynamic flow practiced with a mindful rhythm and repetition with pranayama as a guide. A hypnotic beat in the background will help coordinate the breath and movement as we flow through sequences designed to stimulate both the physical and energetic bodies. Limited alignment instruction will be given throughout the class as students are encouraged to focus on the journey from one pose to the next rather than striking and holding a pose. Class has a high sweat factor so be sure to bring water and a towel.
