Floating Meditation 

Level 0: Appropriate for beginners with no aerial or yoga or meditation experience. Students wear clothes they feel comfortable moving in.

Class Description: Students will be led through a 3-6 minute light warm up on their mats before settling into a seated position in the aerial hammock. The instructor will lead a 10 minute guided meditation followed by 10 minutes of sound healing with crystal bowls. 5 minutes will be dedicated to reawakening.

Aerial Yin Yoga 

Level 1: Appropriate for beginners with no aerial or yoga experience. Students should feel comfortable changing their positions while seated on the floor as the class will be held low to the ground.

Class Description: Swings are set up 1 foot off the floor. Students access restorative postures in the hammock that takes weight off the body making the postures more comfortable and therapeutic. Postures are held for longer periods of time (90 seconds to 5 minutes).

Restorative Aerial Yoga 

Level 1: Appropriate for beginners with no aerial or yoga experience. No prerequisites. 

Class Description: Students will use the aerial hammock as an assistant for them to explore gentle stretches. There will be an emphasis on breath work, restorative postures, and basic inversions.

  • Relieve compression of the spine

  • Learn the basics of aerial yoga

Aerial Yoga 
*Our staple class! Most recommended for first timers

Level 1: Appropriate for beginners with no aerial or yoga experience. Prerequisites, be able to hold a plank for 30 seconds.

 

Class Description: Students will use the aerial yoga hammock throughout the class. Expect a blend of meditation, stretching, strength conditioning, basic inversions, and maybe even some basic aerial tricks! No person is left behind!

Aerial Pilates

Level 1: Appropriate for students who no aerial, Pilates, or yoga experience. Students should be able to hold a plank for 30 seconds. 

Class Description: This class uses classic techniques and movements from Pilates and yoga to give you an inspired workout. Students use the swing for support and stabilization as they add focus to their aerial practice. Students should expect to use the fabric throughout the entire class, with the introduction of inversions in the swing towards the end of the session.

Aerial Conditioning 
*Our most challenging level 2 class

Level 2: Appropriate for students who have taken at least 5 level 1 aerial yoga classes. Must be able to hold a plank for at least 30 seconds. Should feel comfortable with pressure of fabric. 

Class Description: Get a full body workout in this one hour aerial class. Here we combine an aerial yoga based warm up, with a 12 minute HIIT workout in the swing, and finish the class by introducing the building blocks for level 2 aerial yoga tricks. The aerial hammock offers a unique challenge for students to find balance as we work through different conditioning exercises.

Intermediate Aerial Yoga Flow

Level 2: Appropriate for students who have taken at least 3 level 1 aerial yoga classes. Must be able to access basic inversions without hands on assistance.

 

Class Description: This class will still focus heavily on breathing, alignment, and basic yoga techniques. Class will flow through basic aerial yoga wraps and poses with greater fluidity, with an added focus on transitions and inversions. Students will rely more on verbal cues as they gain more trust, comfort, and intuition in the fabric.

  • Boost confidence 

Aerial Tricks & Flips

Level 2: Appropriate for students who have taken at least 3 level 1 aerial yoga classes. Students should know all of the basic yoga inversions and be feel comfortable with pressure of fabric. No experience in acrobatics required.

Class Description: The perfect addition to your aerial practice. This is a fusion of aerial yoga and acrobatics. 

Students will be introduced to new tricks in a step-wise manner, able to do as much or a as little as they want. Class will be highly supervised and assisted.

  • Gain confidence

  • Improve flexibility 

  • Have lots of fun

Single Point Dance & Tricks

Level 2: Appropriate for students who have taken at least 5 level 1 aerial yoga classes. Students should know all of the basic yoga inversions and be feel comfortable with pressure of fabric. No experience in acrobatics or dance is required.

 

Class Description: Take your aerial practice for a spin! The aerial hammock will be set up on a single point spinner with a span set (for space) in this class. You will learn different techniques to spin in the aerial swing, learn progressions of different tricks, and put it all together for a dance inspired sequence! The perfect addition to your aerial practice. This is a fusion of aerial, dance and acrobatics.

Students will be introduced to new tricks in a step-wise manner, able to do as much or a as little as they want. Class will be highly supervised and assisted.

Aerial Playground

Level 3: Appropriate for students who have taken at least 3 months of aerial or a minimum of 20 classes. Recommended 15 aerial conditioning classes. Students should be able to enter and manipulate themselves in all basic inversions with only verbal cues. Students should be able to hold themselves in an inverted pull up and be able to do a backwards flip from starfish without assistance. 

Class Description: Anything goes in aerial playground. This class is meant for students who have a strong foundation in the aerial hammock. They will begin to learn level 3 tricks and transitions to create fluid movements. Class might be focused on theory, transitions, sequences, peak poses, or advanced conditioning exercises. 

Each class will evolve in a step-wise manner so students can do as much or as little as they want. Class will be highly supervised and assisted.
